What will the VALID OPAC be like?
As of January, 2013 the VALID Implementation Taskforce (VOIT) recommended and the VALID Steering Committee (VOSC) approved the use of the open-source interface VuFind. View the recommendation document. Further development is underway and individual participants will be able to customize the interface with their own institutional identity.
Trial Access to VAST: Academic Video Online for VALE Member Institutions Through February 15
From now through February 15, Alexander Street Press is making trial access to its VAST: Academic Video Online database available to all VALE member institutions. VAST is a portal to streaming video covering a wide variety of academic disciplines.
