Lightning Talks at the 2015 VALE/NJ-ACRL/NJLA-CUS Conference - Come Share YOUR Ideas!

Printer-friendly version

 Dear Colleagues,

A lightning talk is a very short presentation given at a conference. Unlike other presentations, lightning talks last only a few minutes and several will usually be delivered in a single period by different speakers.

At this year's conference we'll be offering a session of lightning talks for the first time. Each talk will last for 5 minutes. Presenters may speak on any topic, and may use presentation slides or not. If you would like to offer a lightning talk at the conference, we invite you to sign up using the link below:

Please note that lightning talks are intended to enable an audience to review as many potentially exciting ideas as possible in a short period of time. You are not expected to provide the detail required for attendees to reproduce your work; rather, you’re there to inspire them to search out your work. So please consider signing up and sharing your great ideas at the conference!

If you have any questions or need more information, please contact Ray Schwartz (schwartzr2@wpunj.edu) or Eleonora Dubicki (edubicki@monmouth.edu).
