VALE’s objective is to help institutions meet the demands of students and faculty for access to scholarly materials. Through cooperation and leveraged purchasing, and through the use of collaboration and cutting-edge technology, VALE seeks to provide a seamless network of access to shared electronic academic information resources throughout the state of New Jersey.

Reciprocal Borrowing

The VALE Reciprocal borrowing agreement is a cooperative onsite borrowing agreement among forty-seven participating VALE member colleges and universities.

Subscribed Databases

VALE offers subscriptions for dozens of electronic databases to its members from all academic sectors.

Digital Media

The VALE Digital Media Committee provides vehicles for VALE Member institutions to obtain streaming rights for digital media.
