Virtual Academic Library Environment of New Jersey

User account

Any member affiliated with VALE: Virtual Academic Library Environment of New Jersey member library can request a user account. With a VALE user account you will be able:

to register for the annual users' conference; committee meetings and workshops;
to post comments to the VALE website;
to join VALE Committee(s).

You must use your work or school email address to create your user account otherwise VALE will not be able to authenticate your identity and your user account may not be approved. Approval notification will be sent within 24-hours, if not please contact us.

To ensure proper delivery of VALE email messages, please add "vale-noreply@valenj.org" to your email address book.

Please note that VALE is not a library, but a consortium of libraries in New Jersey. All access to databases and resources is offered through individual college and university libraries, not through the VALE website. If your initial request sought access to these types of materials, please contact your institution for assistance
